Ivy's nursery informed me that the postcard arrived this week.
Maybe the new delivery system in NZ means that there's now a 10 day time lag. Still, by rights sending a card each week should mean that once the time lag is reached each one should be getting through each week in theory.
I've been asked not to highlight that it's odd that the cards don't appear to be arriving regularly. I've also been asked not to say that maybe her mother is withholding the cards.
I've never made that assertion. Indeed, my views on her mother's actions won't be shared with Ivy, at best, for many years, and maybe never will.
